Hello dear friends,
So we are back for real now after a nice Christmas break and it's been hectic off from the start. It's a challenge to keep updates happening...but we are trying!
So...the great new news is that we are RECORDING a CD. ! I know...it's fabulous, and such a wonderful blessing. We almost can't believe it ourselves. Currently we are back at Dave's on Vancouver Island recording the latest CREW ministries album. Very cool, and oh so exciting. This CD will give you the listening pleasure of many original tunes as well as some cover ones. It won't be released till early spring, but if you would like to buy a copy you can pre-order by seeing us at one of our shows as we come through--OR you can mail the CREW ministries head office all your contact info and payment and a copy will be mailed to you as soon as it is released. (At the bottom of this will be a sample order form which you can copy and print if you please.)
And...a quick update of what we've been doing since our last blog-we spent a lot of time in the Edmonton area right before Christmas. We played at Concordia for their Mission Trip fundraiser along with 'Rapid Fire Theatre'--those guys are hillllarious! Did some chapel services for Concordia University of Alberta, Concordia High School, and Faith Lutheran School. Fun times. We also had a concert at Bethel in Sherwood Park, and Bethany in Fort Saskatchewan.
Since Christmas we have been in Lloyminster, St. Albert, Calgary, Sundre, Markerville, and Vernon. Lloyd was a lot of fun with the youth lock in--did some fun games and a study on "Facing the Giants" (movie) and then watched the new Narnia movie...although Sam, Kaila and myself fell asleep, poor Eric. In St. Albert we did a school concert at Neil M. Ross Catholic School--that was a lot of fun. Spent our day off in Edmonton, and then headed down to Prince of Peace School in Calgary. Those kids were great, and the weather was absolutely lovely! Sundre consisted of an evening concert with a lovely audience. Had a hymn sing song half way through and they had a blast! Then it was off back to Calgary for a concert at Foothills. Wow, that was a great time. We loooove you all!! Then it was off to the infamous Markerville...home of the Gamble's. For those of you who don't know them, they are parents to one Scotty E. Gamble. :) They are wonderful and we were so glad to play for the people out in that area. Pastor Howard plays a mean blues guitar. Wow. So cool! Then...off to Vernon we went. Got to hang out with Joel, Robynn and crew. It was the first time that I had ever met 'the' Joel Haberstock, and wow he is just one of those people you are so happy to have met, and to know. His encouraging nature and spirit definatly lifts up those around him, and lifted us up as a team as well. It's such a blessing to have someone like him serving God the way he does.
And now after some long days of driving we are here...at this place near Chemanius, B.C. This house isn't any ordinary house. It's truly an artist home. And it even has a wood stove. I like fire. Especially since it keeps you warm! We are so happy to be back with Dave and Michelle. Dave's brilliance and patience is wonderful during this recording experience.
But now it's off back to the land of recording for me...Thanks to all of your for your prayers and support. It's appreciated more than you know. We look forward to seeing you all whenever that may be, and are missing those most close to us deeply.
God Bless,
-tin

Finally an Update
Ok so it's been a while...almost a month. We've been busy, but now we need to let all you cool kids know what's going on.
So...training is finally done as of last week, and we are on the road now.
Training--we spent on Vancouver Island, near Chemanius (mural land extravaganza) and in the lovely lower mainland-Langley. We spent many a crazy nights at Sam's home church in Langley, where many adventures of many sorts happened. But that's a story for another day. :P Now that we have left that amazing place, we left behind some people who we had just started to get to know. We miss them already, that's for sure!!! sniff sniff...anywho
Past month has consisted of doing church in Parksville, Chiliwack, and Surrey, B.C.
Our first school chapel time was in Port Coquitlum, B.C. (birthtown of the Tin) which was an energizing time. The kids were amazingly receptive to what we had to offer. We would gladly go back there anytime! :)
We had our first concert at St. Luke's in Surrey this past weekend. It was a good start to this crazy year ahead of us. Bec their new Crazy and Cool DPS was very encouraging and still loves us regardless. :P
Now that we've been on the road for a whole 2 days we've hit up 100 mile house and the infamous Quesnel, B.C. :) 100 Mile House had some very enthusiastic kids--dancing in the aisles and everything! Made our day that was for sure. Quesnel...well just some chill time for now, and crazy times with qSarah--"the what to do and what not to do" CREW talk. (We love you qSarah!!!)
And that is a very short summary of what's been going on in the life of us, REDEFINED for the past month and a bit. We are looking forward to this next week as we are heading towards the Alberta area. !!! Yay....and I guess the fact that we are heading closer and closer to snow is something to celebrate too. HA maybe. :) So yeah I could really ramble on and on, but that's Eric's job. (love you :D) But we promise to update more, provided we have internet.
Feel free to comment, e-mail, check out our bios on CREW's website. You know, that sorta cool thing. :P If you are reading this on facebook you can go to the actual website to see the real version (www.crewredefined.blogspot.com). Ooooh yeah.
Peace kids, and don't forget we love you, but Jesus loves you more.
